Below list the rates and charges for transportation services for Private Pay Clients:

Charges below apply per passenger:

 

  • Loading fee: $5.75 per ambulatory pick up; $9.75 per wheelchair pickup

 

  • Within Martinsville City limits: $20 ambulatory $30 Wheelchair

 

  • Flat rate: $35 ambulatory; $45 wheelchair including the first 20 miles

 

  • Per Mile rate over 20 miles: $1.20 per mile

 

  • Deadhead mileage over 40 miles from office to and from pick up location: $1.10 per mile

 

  • Minimum charge: $25.75

 

  • Waiting Time: $3.00 per quarter hour

 

  • No show up charge: $20 non-refundable fee is due at time of scheduling and is deducted from final amount due, unless customer does not show up

 

Weekend and Holidays:

 

  • Loading fee: $7.75 per ambulatory pick up; $11.75 per wheelchair pickup

 

  • Within Martinsville City limits: $25 ambulatory $35 Wheelchair

 

  • Flat rate: $40 ambulatory; $50 wheelchair including the first 20 miles

 

  • Per Mile rate over 20 miles: $1.30 per mile

 

  • Deadhead mileage over 40 miles from office to and from pick up location: $1.20 per mile

 

  • Minimum charge: $27.75

 

  • Waiting Time: $5.00 per quarter hour

 

  • No show up charge: $30 non-refundable fee is due at time of scheduling and is deducted from final amount due, unless customer does not show up

 

  1. Other Charges:

 

  1. Cleaning charge: If a passenger renders the vehicle in an unpresentable condition for further use, a $75 cleaning charge will be assessed against the passenger or passengers.

  2. Damage charge: Vehicles are inspected daily and before each trip to ensure proper operations; therefore, any damage to seats, windows, or other equipment or parts of the vehicle which is caused by any passenger or passengers will be the responsibility of the passenger or passengers and the cost for repairs to the carrier will be paid within 14 days.

 

  1. Collection of Charges:

All charges are payable to Roger Cares Transportation, LLC in advance, unless credit is established in advance of scheduled trip. Payment must be in form of cash, certified check, VISA or MasterCard. Personal checks will only be accepted for advance payments and made out to the Roger Cares Transportation, LLC.A $35.00 charge will be for any personal check returned due to insufficient funds. A 5% surcharge of the total amount due will be assessed for delinquent payments pass 30 days. If payment is not received after 60 days from the date of service was provided, Roger Cares Transportation, LLC will seek all means provided by law to collect payment.

 

 

  1. Rules and Regulations:

  1. One bag will be allowed in the vehicles per passenger; it will be stored in the trunk area; small handbags may stay with member.

  2. Roger Cares Transportation, LLC will not be responsible for any lost or stolen passenger belongings left in vehicle after drop off. The belongings will be taken to the office location; available for pick up between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.

  3. No pets (including service animals) will be allowed in any vehicle.

  4. Passengers are only allowed one additional passenger to assist during the trip; however, if medical needs require more than one additional passenger, it must be discussed at the time of scheduling.

  5. We reserve the right to refuse to transport any person that appears to under the influence of any drugs or alcohol, or is incapable of caring for themselves, or who shows conduct which may produce a potential health risk or harm to themselves, the driver and/or other passengers.

 

  1. Carrier Liabilities:

  • Roger Cares Transportation, LLC is not liable for delays due to Acts of God, public enemies, authority of law, quarantine, perils of navigation, riots, strikes, the hazards or dangers incident to a state of war, accidents, break downs, bad conditions of the road, snowstorm, and other conditions beyond its control, and does not guarantee to arrive or depart from any point at a specified time. We will endeavor to maintain the scheduled route; however, it is not guaranteed.

  • In any occurrence of the above conditions, make it in the opinion of the driver, inadvisable to operate, either from the origin or any point in route, we will not be liable for damages for any reason at all.
